Never fear: Leah and Sara have the cure for any winter blues that may ail you this Sunday when we guest DJ on WRIR's Mellow Madness from 1-3pm, 97.3 fm or streaming live on www.wrir.org!

By a huge stroke of luck I happened to tune into your Sunday radio show on 97.3 while scanning. I was amazed and surprised to hear such great music on terrestrial radio. I am a huge 60s garage punk fan (in the Back from the Grave, GP Unkowns vein)so I was blown away at the rarity and uniqueness of the playlist. Maybe a little more 60s power pop than GP, but exciting nonetheless. Missed Bardow/Gainsbourg Bonnie an Clyde but I will chase that one down since I have always liked Luna's version. Thank for the afternoon. You gave terrestrial radio a fighting chance with me again. Mike
ReplyDeleteThanks for tuning in, Mike! Glad you liked the show!
ReplyDeleteand Liz Brady / Un Garcon Dit A Une Fille may have to be played at every holiday party I go to over the coming weeks. I was reviewing the playlist (instead of working) and you girls kill. Glad I was introduced to you yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's so awesome! Thanks for listening! And yep: Leah's the one on the show with all the amazing garage gems! Blows my mind everytime what my fellow Cherry Bomb girls put down!!
ReplyDeleteI concur, Sara, and don't sell yourself short - you were blowin' my mind with some of those sitar-laden French records!
