Paisley is in the west of Scotland, near Glasgow. This tune (and by tune, I mean choooon!) is sunny goodness, worthy of Jamaica. I like contemporary music that is highly derivative of earlier styles - I see it as relevant in a way the original cannot be. I like the originals too, but the contemporary lyrics usually have a perspective relating to our post modern lives. (I mean, we do live in the future.) Also, with the ability to choose different, appropriate production styles; it seems artists now have more control of production values. The actual sound of the song can be a reference point.
