Neal Ford & the Fanatics - Shame On You

Those who have attended our Cherry Bomb dance nights might recognize this record, as it rarely leaves my regular rotation. Written in 1965, this threatening, menacing garage ditty is the ultimate breakup song; and the swirling solo during the bridge is appropriately spooky for this Halloween holiday.

The Sound Of Music is one of my top 10 all-time favorite movies. I love the songs. And I love this flashmob performance-it's only fitting for Belgium that the song breaks out into a techno version midway through. Just Delightful.

Muse: The Resistance

Since I bought the new Muse album, The Resistance, it has not left my CD player. Has it been a month already? Its's soaring, histrionic, overwrought, complex, rockin', symphonic and pretty much the best thing ever.

Holiday Rock and Shop

Cherry Bomb presents Richmond's first Rock and Shop! If you aren't familiar with the term it means we are offering the coolest shopping experience possible by handpicking local vendors to sell their wares (crafts, clothes, jewelry, records...) on both floors of Gallery 5 while we DJ great music all afternoon long. (different Cherry Bomb DJs on each floor!)

Cherry Bomb will be spinning records in between bands. Lots of lady rock will be spun at this event; from the legends of GRRRL rock to the more obscure girl bands spanning multiple decades and countries.
